Dambai (O/R), Jan 1, GNA – Nana Abdul-Malik Kwabena Tadiche, a traditional healer of the Nyame Bekyere Herbal Centre at Dambai in the Oti region, has led a solemn ceremony to seek the blessings and favour of the ancestors for Ghanaians.
With a deep sense of reverence and connection to the spiritual realm, Nana Tadiche called upon the ancestors to guide, protect and bless the nation as it embarks on a new journey.
“May the ancestors bless us with wisdom, prosperity and good health in this new year, may they guide our leaders to make wise decisions that benefit the nation and its people,” he prayed.
The traditional healer’s plea was met with nods of agreement and murmurs of affirmation from the gathering of community members, who had come to seek blessings and protection for themselves and their loved ones.
Nana Tadiche distributed sacred herbs and talismans to the gathering, as the session ended, symbolising the ancestors’ blessings and protection.
With renewed hope and optimism, the participants departed, ready to face the challenges and opportunities of the New year.
Madam Tekpo Mansa, who has been suffering from a swollen leg, recounted her ordeal to Ghana News Agency and expressed her appreciation to Nana Tadiche for his exceptional care and treatment.
“I was in a lot of pain and discomfort, and my leg had become so swollen that I could not even walk properly, I had tried various treatments and medications but nothing seemed to work, that is when I decided to seek help from the traditional healer,” she said.
During her four months stay at the centre, she underwent series of traditional herbal treatments and spiritual interventions.
Mr. Kwadjo Nikab, a resident from Saboba, who has suffered a leg dislocation that left him in excruciating pain and unable to walk, said: “At first, I was skeptical, but the traditional healer assured me that his treatment would work.”
“… And to my surprise, I started feeling better after just a few days of treatment.”
