Stakeholders call for peaceful resolution of conflict between Adamus Resources and Nguvu mining

Accra, Jan 3, GNA – Stakeholders at the Adamus Resources have called on the Management to seek a lawful resolution between them and their contenders to safeguard the interests of all parties involved, emphasizing the need for clear corporate policies to prevent similar situations in the future.

“We need a robust corporate governance and adherence to fiduciary responsibilities in resolving such disputes. The involvement of high-ranking individuals and alleged political connections has drawn public attention, prompting calls for transparency and accountability”.

A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Friday said a legal dispute had emerged involving Adamus Resources Ghana, as allegations of unauthorized transactions and corporate mismanagement raised concerns about governance practices.

The case, according to the statement centred on the transfer of a 90% stake in Adamus Ghana, previously held by Adamus Resources Australia, to Nguvu Mining Limited.

The statement said the controversy began when Moses Kobena Bosompem, an employee of Nguvu Mining, allegedly facilitated the transfer of shares.

“Questions have been raised about the legitimacy of the transaction, as a court ruling had previously confirmed Allan Roy Morrison as the sole director and secretary of Adamus Resources Australia.

“The Supreme Court of Western Australia has since clarified that Bosompem had no legal standing to act on behalf of Adamus Resources Australia”.

The statement said the share transfer, which had placed Adamus Ghana under the control of Nguvu Mining had sparked legal and operational challenges for the company.
