Sege NPP chairman urges youth to promote peace, hard work

Sege, Jan. 23, GNA – Mr. Augustus Adjaotor, the Sege Constituency Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has urged the youth of Ada to eschew lawless activities that could be detrimental to their future engagements.

According to him, the youth must be circumspect in every action they involve themselves in and pay respect to the elders in their communities.

He stated that both the Bible and the Qur’an explicitly admonished everyone to respect the elderly, adding that “even the Bible added a promise of long life to it.”

Mr. Adjaotor, who is also a leader of the Terkperbiawer Clan of Ada, asked the clan members to unite and foster peaceful co-existence among themselves while assuring the clan members and natives of Ada of his exemplary measures to ensure and foster peace in the area.

Touching on the outcome of the 2024 elections, Mr. Adjaotor disclosed that the party did all it could to break the eight, but the Ghanaian voters made the final decision and must be respected as such.

He charged the NPP and other political parties who could not win the election to go back to their drawing boards and come back in the next elections for a positive result.
