Joana Gyan Cudjoe hosts Deputy finance Minister from Namibia

Takoradi, Jan. 27, GNA – Madam Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the MP for Wassa Amenfi Central has hosted Madam Maureen Hinda-Mbuende, the Deputy Finance Minister and Public Enterprises of Namibia as part of her visit to Ghana.

Madam Cudjoe told the Ghana News Agency that as a gold exporter and miner, “it was particularly exciting to discuss opportunities in the gold industry and how we can leverage our natural resources to boost economic growth for both Ghana and Namibia.”

She said their talks also touched on the importance of African unity in empowering the youth, supporting micro and small businesses, and creating a future where the continent thrived.

As women leaders, the two were bent on contributing meaningfully to the advancement of their countries and championing initiatives that derived sustainable development.

Madam Hinda-Mbuende described their meeting as inspiring to the youth of both countries, “and I look forward to seeing these ideas translate into impactful collaborations that benefit our people.”
