Accra, Jan. 2, GNA – Crime Check Foundation, as part of its annual Christmas Party, has distributed ninety bags of 5kg rice with bottles of cooking oil and 50 pieces of wax print to hundreds of its beneficiaries, including widows.
The Foundation through its projects; the General Charity and Village Charity series offers livelihood support for people of poor background to be able to escape the harsh conditions of the economy.
Aside from these projects, the Educational and Health Check projects have helped pay the bills of poor patients and funded the educational pursuits of brilliant but needy students.
Mr Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, the Executive Director of CCF, urged beneficiaries to continue to develop a grateful attitude in every situation and not entertain fear but rather be hopeful despite their poor conditions.
“No situation is permanent, and your situation may be better than someone’s, so count your blessings more than your losses,” he advised.
Mr. Kwarteng expressed the commitment of the Foundation to continue to develop livelihood programmes that would keep supporting and providing for the poor.
“We pray that we get more support to extend our programmes to many communities,” he added.
He commended the Foundation’s numerous donors and partners for their continuous contribution and support in helping the vulnerable in society.
Meanwhile, there was an outpour of testimonies from beneficiaries to the management of the Foundation, especially its Executive Director, for their continuous support.
In another development, Meena Breast Cancer Foundation (MBCF), a sister Foundation of CCF, as part of the Party, screened the breasts of more than 50 women, where some cases were recorded and victims referred for appropriate medical attention.
The Foundation extended its deepest gratitude to all the sponsors, donors, volunteers, and supporters who made the event possible.
It remains dedicated to supporting the poor and needy while promoting breast cancer awareness, education, and support services throughout every year.
The Foundation appealed to its donors for continuous support to enable it to help the underprivileged and orphans in the community.
