CaFGOAG congratulates new Administrator of National Premix Fuel Secretariat

Tema, Jan. 30, GNA – The National Executive Committee of the Canoe and Fishing Gear Owners Association of Ghana (CaFGOAG), has congratulated Mr. Ebow Mensah for his appointment as the administrator of the National Premix Fuel Secretariate.

In a statement signed by Nana Kweigyah, the national president of CaFGOAG, copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), noted that Mr. Mensah was coming to the position with a wealth of expertise, experience, and dedication.

“In view of the critical role of premix fuel in the development of artisanal fisheries, the leadership of Mr. Ebo Mensah will be instrumental in addressing the challenges that fishing communities face with the distribution and management of premix fuel and strengthening governance of the premix fuel subsector towards enhancing distribution and management of premix fuel and ensuring the long-term sustainability of fisheries livelihoods,” it stated.

CaFGOAG commended the Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Madam Emelia Arthur, for the appointment, expressing full confidence in Mr. Mensah’s ability to lead the National Premix Fuel Secretariat towards a future of innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth of the artisanal fisheries.

The association indicated that they look forward to collaborating with him in improving governance of the premix fuel subsector to benefit fishing communities and the artisanal fisheries sector.

It also reaffirmed its members support and commitment to working together to improve the distribution and management of premix fuel to fishing communities.
