Anloga (VR) Jan. 27, GNA – Mr Richard Kwame Sefe, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Anloga constituency in the Volta Region has organised a “thank you” service for the constituents for their massive support to the NDC toward the 2024 December 7, election victory in the parliamentary race.
The service, which was held at the Anlo Senior High School (Anseco) auditorium was also aimed at engaging with party faithful and supporters and deliberate on the way forward for the progress of the area.
Mr Sefe in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, after the service expressed gratitude to all National Democratic Congress (NDC) leaders, executives, and supporters for the constant support to the party, the parliamentary candidates and president John Dramani Mahama to win the general elections.
“Today, l want to thank you to all our beloved NDC family members for showing the party the love and care even in difficult times. We fight hard and we must thank God for the victory and blessings we have,” he said.
He said that the other objectives of the thank you service was to take various advises and views from the areas, which include education, road infrastructures, water and electrification projects, job creation, the economy among others that could help develop to the progress of the constituency.
Mr Sefe who won the December polls on the ticket of the NDC in the area for the second term, said that the victory in the 2024 election would serve as continuity of good developmental works to alleviate the challenges faced by the people.

“I have supported over 1000 youth in apprenticeship programmes in my first term of being MP just to at least motivate the youth to engage in a job. The NDC will continue and bring more programmes that would benefit the youth and change their various stories for the best.”
Tegbi Zewu II, Awadada of Anlo State, who also witnessed the service, in his speech urged the Member of Parliament to remain focus and avoid taking things for granted as well as listen to the constituents for their suggestions and criticisms.
Mr Rolex Agbey Miheso, the Anloga NDC constituency chairman commended the constituents for the massive supports and pledged the NDC would always prioritise the Volta Region for development and progress.
He thanked President Mahama for the nationwide thank you tour which started from the Volta region and various ministerial positions the region received which indicated the love the party has for the region.
He appealed to all Ghanaian to help President Mahama the party to reset and fulfill all the 2024 campaign promises for the betterment of the country.
Some NDC party supporters GNA engaged during the service expressed satisfaction and joy over the moves and thanked the MP for the good gesture of acknowledgement and promised support the party to succeed.
The thank you service was highly attended by Chiefs and queens of Anloga constituency, assessment members, pastors, constituency executives, party supporters, among others.
Mr Richard Kwame Sefe in the 2024 December 7 elections gathered 36,419 votes to beat Mr Seth Kwashie Yormewu who also had 4,131 out of 40,550 total valid votes in the constituency.
