SiDNet congratulates President-elect Mahama 

Accra, Dec. 14, GNA – The Sisaala Development Network (SiDNet), a non-profit organization, has extended its congratulations to President-elect John Dramani Mahama following his decisive victory in the 2024 presidential election. 

In a statement issued by the organization and signed by its President, Professor Yunus Dumbe, SiDNet expressed delight at Mr. Mahama’s overwhelming win.  

The statement further offered prayers for his good health and sought God’s guidance to enable him to lead Ghana toward peace and inclusivity, ensuring that all citizens, regardless of political affiliation, could improve their lives. 

“Our members played various roles in the electioneering campaign, which partly contributed to the 100 per cent victory of the National Democratic Congress in all  Sisaala constituencies,” the statement noted. 

 SiDNet also expressed its eagerness to meet with the President-elect soon to strengthen the already positive relationship between the organization and his leadership. 

The orgamisation is dedicated to uniting Sisaala people from various educational and professional backgrounds, with the primary goal of advocating for the development of the Sisaala area.  

 The region spans four districts in the Upper West Region of Ghana and is a major contributor to the country’s agricultural production, providing over 70 percent of Ghana’s maize and 60 percent of its soya beans annually.
