Kete-Krachi (O/R), Dec. 7, GNA – Elections in the Krachi West constituency of the Oti Region has commenced with the process being calm and smooth.
Voting started at exactly 0700 hours with few of the electorates in the queue at the Kete-Krachi Traditional Council polling centre.
Mr Mosi Wisdom, the presiding officer, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that 644 voters were expected o cast their ballots at the centre, and that eight voters had already done so.
He said no challenges had occurred, and voting was moving on seamlessly.
All EC officials, party agents and security personnel are available at the centre observing the process.
Krachi West has 33,700 voters on the register.
