Dormaa-Ahenkro (Bono), Dec. 27, GNA – The Dormaa Presbyterian Hospital in the Bono Region welcomed four babies on Christmas Day December 25, Madam Ruth Ayaaba, a Senior Midwife at the Labour Ward, has said.
The babies, two boys and two girls, and their mothers were in good condition, Madam Ayaaba told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview at Dormaa-Ahenkro.
She said one of the babies was delivered through Caesarean Section (CS), saying “we also recorded few home births too”.
Madam Joyce Effah, the Midwifery Officer at the labour ward, in another interview advised pregnant women to visit the hospital and take the necessary supplements to enhance the proper formation of their babies.
She cautioned pregnant women against self-medication and asked them to take early scans for early detection of any possible abnormalities.
