Ellembelle MP supports activities of National Association of Nzema students

Half-Assini (W/R), Dec 28, GNA – The Member of Parliament MP) for Ellembelle, Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah has donated GHC3,000.00 to support activities of the National Association of Nzema Students (NANS). 

The gesture formed part of the MP’s desire to work collectively to elevate the Association and by extension, uplift the treasured Nzemaland. 

Mr Jeff Yankey an Aide to Mr Armah-Kofi Buah, made the donation on his behalf at the Handing-Over, Awards and Dinner Night celebrations at the Half-Assini Senior High School (HASCO) in the Jomoro Municipality of the Western Region. 

Mr Armah-Kofi Buah reiterated his unflagging dedication to empowering the youth of Nzema, particularly students by providing them with numerous opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge over the years. 

The Deputy Minority Leader in Parliament urged the newly elected group of leaders to advocate tirelessly the betterment of Nzema Students across all educational levels. 

The MP reminded the students to strive harder to uplift Nzema as they were the future of Nzema. 

Mr Armah-Kofi Buah expressed grave concern about the low literacy rate in Nzema and reminded NANS to lead a change to accelerate the rapid development of Nzemaland. 

The MP, who was the former Minister for Energy and Petroleum hinted of plans by the John Mahama’s administration to expand operations of the Ghana National Gas Company (GNGC) and ENi Ghana projects in the oil and gas enclave. 

The MP, therefore, advised students to pursue relevant courses to merit employment in the petroleum sector. 

The President of NANS, Mr Obed Kofi Lannister who received the cash donation on behalf of the Association, commended Mr Armah-Kofi Buah for always knocking on the doors of NANS even before they called on him for assistance. 

He entreated all Nzema students irrespective of their political inclinations to say a word of prayer to support  Mr Armah-Kofi Buah before they sleep to continue to push the developmental agenda of Nzemaland.
