Anyaa (GA/R). Nov.15, GNA – Ms. Golden Princess, the Youth Member of Parliament (YMP) for the Anyaa Electoral Area in the Sowutuom constituency, has organized a mentorship conference for the youth of Anyaa.
This initiative aims to enlighten young people on the importance of acquiring skills to improve their standard of living.
The programme, themed “Empowering the Youth, Empowering Minds,” is designed to prepare future leaders at Anyaa.
It focuses on promoting health and education while providing free apprenticeship training opportunities.
Ms. Princess added that it had been her utmost concern to help minimize unemployment in the constituency by providing start- up kits to apprentices in hairdressing and tailoring through the training programs.
She promised to provide continuous support to the youth even after the general elections, regardless of which party comes to power.
She explained that each stage of life came with unique demands and achievements, encouraging the youth to focus on their life goals.
Having a clear vision aid in planning and helps prevent future regrets. She urged participants to embrace and champion qualities essential for personal growth and success.
Mr. Justice Andoh, representing Elder Emmanuel Tobbin, the National Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Anyaa Sowotuom Constituency, emphasized the significance of human resource development in every nation and the vital role of youth in national development.
He stated that investment in youth was crucial for avoiding future regrets and cultivating humility and the ability to learn from others, adding that hard work had always been a cornerstone of achievement and progress.
Ms. Lady-Shine Fruitful, a health expert, took the opportunity to advise the youth on the importance of maintaining good health.
She explained that physical well-being was fundamental to the conscious development of human resources and should never be underestimated, as it formed the foundation for healthy and harmonious relationships in both personal and professional life.
Beneficiaries of the youth mentorship program expressed their appreciation to the organizers for preparing them for a brighter future and for their commitment to making a positive impact on their community and the nation as a whole.
