Senya (C/R), Nov 07, GNA – Maulvi Noor Muhammad Bin Salih, the Ameer, Head and Missionary-In-Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Ghana, has inaugurated a modern 200-capacity Ahmadiyya mosque complex at Senya in Awutu-Senya-West District.
Addressing the gathering before the ceremony, Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih, who began with a message about the story of Prophet Mohammed and his teachings from the Quran, encouraged Muslims to reflect on their lives and do good always.
He stressed the significance of building a house of God, a blessing not only for the Amatu Salam who has passed, or her family who gave out the land free of charge but the diverse ways it had contributed towards the benefits of unborn generation.
“I acknowledge the sacrifice made by all for making a place of worship and I thank Allah for giving them the strength to make such sacrifices,” the Ameer said.
He said unveiling the mosque demonstrated commitment and dedication to the service of Allah, and as Ahmadis it behoved on them to emulate persons who initiated and contributed to build the mosque for their names to be written in the good books of Allah.
According to him, commissioning of the new mosque in Senya was a testament to the growth and strength of the local Muslim community, providing the much-needed space for worshipping Allah.
It also served as a symbol of unity and pride for the community.
Maulvi Bin Salih advised all to seek Allah’s mercy and guidance in carrying out their religious duties effectively as stated in Quran to reap the blessings of Allah both in this world and hereafter.
Maulvi Bin Salih urged the youth, to take their congregation worship seriously, always do good and Allah would never forsake them.
He advocated for unity and cohesion to forge ahead as one family and make good use of the building to please the Almighty Allah and not to leave it to become a white elephant.
