Sekondi, Nov. 9, GNA – Mr. James Kabiekyle, a business owner in the Western and Ashanti Regions, has donated building materials to the Ghana Police Service in Sekondi and the 2BN in Apremdo.

He also donated two motorbikes to the New Patriotic Party office in the Western Region  to enable them to pursue their victory agenda in the coming elections.

Mr. Kabiekyle, the owner of James KK Gold Enterprise and a heavy-duty machinery centre in both Western and Ashanti Regions at the separate donations, said he deemed it right to contribute to the welfare of the security services in the country and the party for effective grassroots mobilisation.

He said the thriving and congenial environment largely enjoyed by Ghanaians were as a result of the diligence and Patriotic nature in which the Security agencies continued to serve the people of Ghana and encouraged them to hold on to this constitutional duty of safeguarding the sovereignty of Ghana even in the face of economic challenges and the pending elections.

The Police Service and the 2BN officials who received the materials  noted that the materials would support the various infrastructure projects within the two commands.

The Police Headquarters in Sekondi plans to build a new edifice with enough space to host chiefs and other public members who thronged in day and night for redress.

Lt. Yvonne Owusu, the Adjutant to the 2BN Commander thanked the philanthropist and Businessman for the gesture and promised to report back to the Commanding Officer for a continual relationship.

Mr. Okatakyi Amankwa Afrifa, the Western Regional Secretary of the NPP, who received the Motorbikes noted how the donation had come at an opportune time to augment their fleets for rural mobilisation.

He said the party was confident of victory and was hopeful to add new seats to its parliamentary slots in the Region.
