Accra, Dec 27, GNA – Madam Rita Sowah, the Member of Parliament (MP), for La Dade Kotopon Constituency has feted and presented 200 persons with disabilities (PWDs) and seniors in the Constituency with hampers of rice, oil, cloth and cash to brighten their Christmas season.
Highlighting the spirit of giving, Madam Sowah emphasized her commitment to their well-being, promising to advocate for further support.
She praised their contributions to society and urged them to persevere in their endeavors. “I have noted with appreciation the invaluable roles some of you are playing in the development of our country by engaging in productive ventures,” she said.
Expressing gratitude, Mr. Adarkwah, Chairman of the Disability Organization at La, representing the beneficiaries, lauded the timely gesture and encouraged others to follow suit.
