Sofia, Dec 22 (BTA/GNA) – The need for young people and youth organizations to be involved in the activities of the United Nations (UN) to strengthen international peace and security and to build democratic, inclusive and peaceful societies was highlighted by Deputy Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova, who participated in the traditional briefing of the Bulgarian participants in the UN Youth Delegate Programme, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Thursday.
Petrova noted the importance of the Bulgarian Youth Delegates to the UN Programme as an important part of the Foreign Ministry’s policies to empower young people and their participation in the decision-making process. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue its support for the programme.
