Westline (WR), June 29, GNA – Cirilo Consult, a logistic and procurement inclined service provider, has organised a bootcamp and orientation for 20 start-ups within the Western region to provide the unemployed graduates entrepreneurship skills.
The programme dubbed “Skills and Entreprenuership Development Programme for Unemployed Graduates” (SEDUG) was also to offer the beneficiaries capacities to enable them set up and run their own businesses and get a livelihood.
Madam Alice Ama Darko, the Chief Executive of Cirilo, told the Ghana News Agency that the first cohort would receive training in various trade areas such as fashion, shoe manufacture, web design, mobile App development, solar systems installation and the agriicultural production and agribusiness.
She said the group would be taken through six months of skills training and two months of business incubation after which they would be supported to set up their businesses and receive post-training mentorship.
The group at the orientation were exposed to knowledge from various stakeholders and experts to prepare them for the journey ahead in the world of business.
