Ghana’s confirmed cases of COVID-19 now at 4,263

Accra, May 10, GNA – Ghana has confirmed 251 new cases of the COVID-19 bringing the country’s case count to 4,263 the Ghana Health Service portal which provides update has said.

It said total recoveries now stands at 378 with death toll of 22. This therefore leaves the country with 3,863 active cases.

“Between May 7 and 8, a total of 251 new cases have been reported with the majority of them from the Greater Accra Region,” it said.

The regional breakdown now at Greater Accra -3,641, Ashanti-252, Eastern- 96, Central-62, Western North-56, Western Region-35, Volta-32, Upper East -26, Oti Region-24, Upper West -20, Northern-16, North East-two, Bono Region-one, Savannah Region-0, Ahafo Region-0, and Bono East-0 respectively.
