COVID-19: High Commission requests for information on stranded Ghanaians in UK

Accra, May 13, GNA – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration is collating information on Ghanaians and legal permanent residents who are stranded abroad as a result of the closure of international boarders in containment of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A statement issued by the Ghana High Commission in London, which was copied to the Ghana News Agency, said in view of this, eligible nationals who are prepared to pay for their cost of travel to Ghana must submit their details specified to the Ghana High Commission not later than close of the day, Wednesday, 13th May.

The specified details include name and copy of bio data page of passport, current location, telephone contact, whatsapp number and e-mail address.

The rest are date of travel from Ghana, original date of expected return to Ghana, copy of return ticket, reason for inability to return to Ghana, and confirmation of ability to pay for arranged air travel.
