Sefwi-Bodi (WN), May 10, GNA-Mr Ignatius Akwasi Amankwah, District Chief Executive for the Bodi District of the Western North Region, has visited the Islamic School Construction site at Sefwi -Bodi to ascertain the progress of work at the site.
Addressing the media after the visit, Mr Amankwah explained that the project was being funded by the Zongo Development Fund Secretariat and his office was playing the supervisory and monitoring role to ensure the proper execution of the project.
“As we are all aware, the Nana Addo- Bawumia government instituted a Zongo Development Fund Secretariat to foresee the affairs of development in all Zongos, so what we are seeing here is the share of the Zongo community in Bodi,” he said.
The DCE, who doubles as the Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party for the Bodi Constituency, told the media that the project was being constructed by Earthmasters Construction (GH) Ltd and expected to be completed in Eight months.
