Akyawkrom (Ash) April 15, GNA – Mr. Kwame Agyeman Budu, Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), has donated quantities of hand sanitizers to two communities in the Ejisu Municipality to support the COVID -19 fight.
The beneficiary communities were Akyawkrom and Asotwe.
Dr Adu Gyamfi, Assembly Member for Akyawkrom Electoral Area, who presented the items on behalf of the Managing Director, said it was his contribution to the fight of the spread of the pandemic.
He said Mr Budu, who was a native of the area, was much concerned about the rate at which the virus was spreading in the country and the gesture was therefore, to help the people in the area protect themselves against the disease.
Dr Adu Gyamfi appealed to the people in the two communities to respect and strictly adhere to the various health protocols the government had put in place to help reduce the spread of the disease.
