Sefwi Bekwai (WN/R) April 15, GNA – The Sefwi-Bekwai Area of Church of Pentecost in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso -Bekwai Municipality has donated items to health facilities and security agencies within the Area.
The items, which included; Hand sanitizers, floor cleaners, detergents and tissue papers, were presented at different centres to the Bibiani Municipal Hospital, Sefwi Bekwai hospital,DAK Medical Centre, the Anhwiaso Health Centre, the Bibiani and Sefwi Bekwai District Police Commands.
Presenting the items, the Area Head, Apostle Vincent Anane Denteh said it was the duty of the Church to show its care for the health workers and security personnel who are serving as the frontline workers in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
He reiterated the need for all to rely on Christ in these critical times as the efforts of man alone cannot achieve much.
He further tasked the beneficiary institutions to put the items into judicious use as the nation was all out to curtail the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Receiving the items, the Clinical Coordinator of the Bibiani Municipal hospital, Dr Ernest Mantey expressed his profound joy and gratitude for the items and said that it was timely since it would go a long way to boost their preparedness towards the fight against COVID-19.
He appealed to other institutions to emulate the efforts of the Church.
