Ayakomaso, (Bono), Dec. 25, GNA – The Youth Division of the Bono Regional Division of the Deeper Life Bible Church has ended its six-day December Retreat with a call on the youth to cherish and preserve their salvation for earthly comfort.

Pastor Robert Lugushie, the Bono Regional Youth Coordinator of the Deeper Life Bible Church, who gave the advice, told the young people that they would never regret if they continued to stay in the Kingdom of God and applied the biblical teachings in their secular lives.

More than more than 400 youth of the church drawn from the various districts of the church, including Abesim, Chiraa, Nsoatre, Sunyani, Ohene Djan, and Yamfo, attended the retreat which coincided with the Global Crusade Kumuyi (GCK).

The GCK is a monthly evangelism outreach hosted by Dr Williams F. Kumuy, the General Overseer of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM) and it was on the theme: “Power for present possession.”

The retreat also created opportunities for the youth to listen to live Christian and bible-led sermons from Dr Kumuyi from Nigeria via internet, while other local pastors took them through sound biblical teachings and preaching.

This year’s gathering of the Christian youth was special as they also went through the “Impact Academy”, a special programme initiated by Dr Kumuyi in line with the GCK to help unearth and build the hidden talents of the youth.

Pastor Lugushie described sin and worldliness as dangerous tackles the “devil and his cohorts” had adopted to sway many of the contemporary youth from the Christian faith.

He said sin and worldly amusement would shame the indulgers here and bring God judgment on them hereafter, and urged the youth to be guarded against the growing trend of immorality, sport betting, internet fraud and scams.

“As deeper life youth, you must endeavour to shun all forms of sins. In fact, sin must not be mentioned among youth if you want to receive God blessings here on earth”, he advised.

Pastor Lugushie said God had high hopes in the youth of the church to impact society positively. and asked them not to disappoint God and indulge in sin, saying that would short-lived their God ordain blessings in their lives.

In a sermon, Pastor Charles Ollu, the New-Dormaa location Pastor of the Church advised the youth to read and pick inspirations from the bibles always, saying “with God by your side, there is no way you are going to fail in life, ministry and your career”.
