Ho, Dec. 18, GNA – The Nneka Youth Foundation, a non-profit organisation, has made donations to women and children of five communities in the Afadzato South District of the Volta Region.
Logba, Agbome, Gbordome, Wudome and Kplezo communities benefitted from the gesture, which aims at “uplifting and empowering” beneficiaries in their local communities.
Mrs Cecilia Fiaka, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Foundation, said the donation which was annually carried out was to reach out to the less privileged.
She said as part of the gesture, the Foundation also inspired, encouraged and advised beneficiaries, which was tailored to promoting confidence, resilience and self-worth.
She expressed gratitude to philanthropists, who supported the Foundation towards the donation.
Madam Edem Agbemeti, a beneficiary, expressed gratitude to the Foundation and the philanthropists, who supported the donation.
She said the gesture had put a smile on their faces as they head towards the Yuletide seasons.
