Bechem, (Ahafo), Dec. 10, GNA – Mr Emmanuel Kwame Frimpong, the Tano South Constituency Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has described the party’s Election 2024 victory as a ‘victory for democracy, unity and progress.’
“The elections of Charles Akwasi Asiedu as the Member of Parliament-elect for the Tano South Constituency, and John Mahama as President-elect are not just a victory for the NDC, but a victory for democracy, unity, and progress,” he stated in a statement copied to Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sunyani.
The statement expressed the party’s appreciation to the electorates and people of the Tano South constituency for believing in the NDC’s vision and placing their trust and confidence in the party.
“This achievement would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of our grassroots supporters, polling agents, ward collation officers, and party executives who worked day and night to make this dream a reality,” it stated.
“We do not take this trust for granted, and we pledge to serve with humility, integrity, and an unwavering focus on delivering meaningful change,” the statement indicated, adding that “as we celebrate the victory, let us also remember that our work is just beginning.”
