Accra, Dec.07, GNA – Mr Dennis Miracle Aboagye, the Director of Communication for Bawumia Campaign, has urged supporters of the Party to cooperate with the security personnel and Electoral Commission (EC) officials at the Collation Centres to protect the ballot papers.

He said the NPP believed in the electoral processes set up by the EC and would not do anything untoward to disrupt the electoral process.

Speaking at a news briefing at the Party’s Campaign Communications Office in Accra Saturday night, Mr Aboagye said the elections would be won with intelligence and not violence.

He described as “reckless” comments made by the NDC Communications Director, Sammy Gyamfi, urging the NDC supporters to move to the Collation Centres while their polling agents were there monitoring the process.
Mr Aboagye said the Party had collated its figures and knew Dr Bawumia was winning but would not hastily announce anything until the EC declared the certified results.

He expressed optimism that the elections would come to a “sensible and successful” conclusion and urged the Party’s supporters to remain calm and help the EC and the security agencies to ensure peace and order at the Collation Centres across the 276 Constituencies.
