General Election 2024: Voting underway at Amdallah Central Mosque in Ablekuma Central

Accra, Dec. 7, GNA – Voting is underway at the Amdallah Central Mosque, Fadikafuta Shukura polling stations 1,2, and 3 in the Ablekuma Central Constituency. 

The national exercise started at exactly 0700 hours and is expected to end at 1700 hours. 

A total of 973 registered voters are expected to cast their votes at the Amdallah Central Mosque, Fadikafuta Shukura polling centres. 

As at 1100 hours, some 127 voters out of 331 registered persons voted at the Amdallah Central Mosque, Fadikafuta Shukura 1, in the Ablekuma Central Constituency. 

Also, 95 voters out of 317 registered voted at the Amdallah Central Mosque, Fadikafuta Shukura 2 around the same time. 

At the Amdallah Central Mosque, Fadikafuta Shukura 3, out of the 325 registered voters, 73 persons voted.  

There were no queues at other centres the GNA got to the venue at 1045 hours. 

Mr. Abubakar Abdullah, a Party Agent for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), told the Ghana News Agency that, all agents had agreed that voters used one voting booth to cast their ballots for both presidential and parliamentary candidates. 

He said the decision was taken because the materials were not enough.
