Mr Ebenezer Decker, Presiding Officer, Electoral Commission (EC), told the Ghana News Agency that the Centre took delivery of materials at exactly 0445 hours.
He said the BVD machines were working effectively, adding that so far, the electoral proceedings were going on smoothly and peacefully.
Madam Edith. E. Nyamordey, Presiding Officer of Centre 20A, said voting delay a bit because the party agents wanted to record the serial numbers of stamp pads and seals, check the register and other materials.
Mr George Osei Kankam, another Presiding Officer at the Polling Station confirmed that the aged and Persons with Disabilities were given the opportunity to vote without joining the queues.
Miss Abigail Ofori, a Party Agent, said the stamp pads and seals were new, hence, it was important to record the serial numbers before voting started.
She said they were satisfied with the process.
The voters complained about the lack of clear labeling of the Polling Centres for easy identification since they had been demarcated.
A voter said she had been present at the Centre as early as 0400 hours and was frustrated as she was told that her name was not in that particular register and had to go and check from the others.
There was an elderly woman who suddenly felt unwell and was assisted to vote as she insisted.
All the centres have security personnel.
