Lagos Town (W/R), Dec. 6, GNA – Reverend Seth Kobina Amoah, the Resident Minister of the Lagos Town Society of the Methodist Church Ghana, has admonished his congregation to seek peace no matter the outcome of the elections.
He encouraged the congregation to draw lessons from Israel adding, “Though they were in exile in Babylon, yet they were asked to seek the peace and prosperity of that nation. Because their peace and prosperity are within that of Babylon”.
He was speaking on the theme: ‘In peace, we experience better future’ when the Lagos Town Society of the Methodist Church Ghana organised an election related education event for the congregation.
Reverend Amoah said Ghanaians were to seek the peace and prosperity of the Nation no matter the outcome of the elections.
He said Ghana could experience a better future when the peace of the country was strictly consolidated.
Mr. Justice Ennin, the Western Regional Director of the NCCE took the participants through the voting process.
ACP Dr. Francis Kwame Tsidi, Ghana Police Service, Western Region said the Ghana Police Service was ready to enhance security for the Elections.
