Jinjini, (B/R), Nov. 25, GNA – Mr Dickson Kyere Duah, the Berekum West Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Bono Region, has urged the electorates to vote for him on December 7, for the purpose of development.

He expressed the regret that for the past 16 years that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) occupied the parliamentary seat, the constituency had not witnessed major development and urged the electorates to vote for him.

Mr Duah made the appeal when he was speaking at a durbar to mark the annual ‘Munufie Yam’ festival of the chiefs and people of Abi, a farming community near Jinijini in the Berekum West Municipality.

“The deficit in the development of the constituency is clear evidence that the NPP has neglected us,” he stated, and urged the electorates there to also vote for the Former President John Dramani Mahama.

Mr Duah also urged the Electoral Commission to conduct free, fair and credible elections so that all stakeholders would accept the results in good faith without doubts.

He said a credible Election 2024 would strengthen the prevailing peace of the nation and facilitate accelerated national development.
