Minority Chief Whip presents items to Adaklu District Football Association

Adaklu Waya (V/R), Oct 01, GNA – Mr. Governs Kwame Agbodza, Member of Parliament for Adaklu has presented a number of items to the Adaklu District Football Association (ADFA) at a ceremony at Adaklu Waya to facilitate their work.   

The items include a brand-new motorbike, one laptop computer, sets of jerseys, referee flags, whistles, and an amount five thousand Ghana Cedis.  3.  He also rented office accommodation for the DFA.    

Mr. Agbodza who is also the Minority Chief Whip in Parliament speaking at the ceremony, urged the coaches and players of the various teams in the district to discipline themselves and work for a common goal to help produce one formidable team that would sell Adaklu to the world.   

“Football is now a serious business and those who want to play must be disciplined and dedicated,” he stated.  

Mr. Agbodza advised the ADFA executives to work hard to unearth the numerous latent talents in football in the district.    

“There are many talented footballers in the district who could not be unearthed due to lack of exposure,” he noted.  

The MP said the DFA executives should not hesitate to approach him if they faced any challenge in their work.   

Daniel Agbogah, Volta Regional FA Chairman was full of praise for Mr. Agbodzah and assured him that his outfit would help the ADFA to produce one of the best teams in the region.    

He advised the ADFA executives to handle the items with the utmost care to prolong their lifespan.
