32 young women graduate from hairdressing training at Duayaw-Nkwanta

Duayaw-Nkwanta, (A/R), Aug. 21, GNA – The Duayaw-Nkwanta branch of the National Hairdressers and Beauticians Association of Ghana in the Tano North Municipality of the Ahafo Region has held its fifth graduation ceremony at Duayaw-Nkwanta. 
 
In all 32 young women who had completed their three and half years’ training in hairdressing were presented with certificates of merit. 
 
In a speech read on her behalf at a short graduation ceremony held at Duayaw-Nkwanta, Nana Serwaa Nyarko, the Paramount Queen Mother of Duayaw-Nkwanta Traditional Area, advised the graduates to be proud of their chosen vocation. 
 
She asked them not to feel inferior, but rather concentrate on their work and contribute to the development of the area. 

She advised: “Your work is as good as all others for the progress and development of our society.” 
 
Mrs Matilda Yeboah, the Local Vice President of the Association, also advised hairdressers to remain tolerant and be patient with their customers for their businesses to grow.
