Tamale, Dec 21, GNA – Mr Sule Salifu, the Tamale Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE), has congratulated the newly elected Assembly Members of the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly (TaMA) for their success in the competition.
In a statement signed by Mr Amadu Mustapha Zakari, the Public Relations Officer of the TaMA and copied to the Ghana News Agency, the MCE said the successful District Assembly Elections (DLE) marked a significant moment for the metropolis as it signified the trust and confidence the people had in the elected members to represent their interests and contribute to development.
It expressed the MCE’s appreciation to all candidates who participated in the DLE, commending them for their efforts and dedication.
The MCE extended an open invitation for collaborators to work together for the progress of the metropolis.
“My doors are wide open to facilitate constructive dialogues, partnerships, and initiatives that will contribute to the enhancement of the quality of life for all residents.”
It said the advancement of Tamale should be the collective goal of members of the metropolis, which could be realised through collaboration and unity.
The statement called for unity among assembly members, urging them to set aside political differences and focus on the shared vision of making Tamale a better place for all.
It stated the MCE’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and participatory approach to governance, where the voices of all elected members would be heard and valued.
