Berlin, Feb 24, (dpa/GNA) – Kiev’s mayor, former professional boxer Vitali Klitschko, has appealed to the world to help Ukraine as it faces the military might of Russia.
“We are at war and fighting for our country, but need the support of the whole world and really hard-hitting sanctions against Russia immediately,” Klitschko told Bild, a German newspaper.
“The situation in Kiev is under control for now, but of course people are nervous,” Klitschko said.
