Ajumako (C/R), Nov. 12, GNA – Reverend Ransford Kwesi Nyarko, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam, has called on the people in the area to bury their personal differences and collaborate with the Assembly to accelerate the socio-economic development of the area.
He said in unity was strength, and therefore, the dream of a well-developed homeland could only be realised if all her citizens worked together in unity.
“The Government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has over the past years undertaken numerous projects and will do even more to accelerate development in the district, but the support of everyone is required to achieve more”, the DCE assured.
Rev Nyarko made the appeal when Nana Amakwah Edua XII, Chief of Ajumako Essaman and elders called on him, following his nomination and conferment some weeks ago.
He expressed his gratitude to President Akufo-Addo for nominating him and thanked the Assembly Members for the confidence reposed in him by confirming his nomination.
He praised the Chief for offering the Assembly vast tract of land for development projects, particularly to support the “One District, One Factory’ (1D1F) industrialsation agenda of the District.
Reiterating his commitment to the development of the district, he promised to continue with all ongoing development projects to better the well-being of all and thanked the Chief and the people for their support.
For his part, Nana Amakwah Edua congratulated him for his re-appointment which Nana described as ‘a mark of hard-work and dedication to duty’.
He pledged his unflinching support to the DCE for the task ahead of him and pleaded for more development projects in his area to better the lot of his people.
