Takoradi, June 22, GNA – The Raybow International Hotel in Takoradi left no stone unturned to put smiles on the faces of their clients and patrons on Father’s Day.
As such, it organized a live band show on the night of Sunday to bring out the glamour and humor that often accompanied the celebration of the day with strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols.
Speaking to the media on how it celebrated the occasion, Madam Emzara Ansah Sam, Events and Sales Manager of the Hotel said her outfit embarked on free delivery of the request to the homes and offices of patrons in the Metropolis in honour of fathers.
She said the Hotel put together three Father’s Day packages purposely for their clients and patrons.
They include the “Brave Package” which comprised a golden fried chicken with rice (plain, jollof or fried), a pack of ceres fruit juice and a branded mug.
The “Courageous Package” also came with a chicken or beef pizza, two packs of golden fried chicken with rice (plain, jollof or fried), a pack of Ceres fruit juice, a 1.5 liter bottle of coca-cola and a branded mug.
The “Strong Package” had spicy roasted full chicken with potatoes or yam chips or jollof rice, grilled tilapia with banku, rice or boiled plantain, a bottle of sparkling wine, a pack of Ceres fruit juice, a 1.5-liter bottle of coca-cola, and a branded mug.
Madam Sam noted that the hospitality industry had always been the focal point for such celebrations with many hotels hosting activities to give patrons the chance to give their fathers a royal treat, hence the packages and the free deliveries.
“Father’s Day is dedicated to acknowledge and celebrate the dedication and contribution of father’s in the lives of their children and the entire society,” she said.
“On this special occasion, Raybow Hotel and Apartment wish all Fathers the very best in their endeavors” she added.
According to her, although some of their patrons may be separated from their fathers, their guidance and love had stuck with them through their lives.
“Children buy their father’s great gift and wish them on the day to make them feel special. The contribution of a father in the lives of his children is immense and though a single day is never going to be enough to thank them for their love and commitment, it was essential to acknowledge the same and make them feel special”, she said
Father’s Day is celebrated every year on the third Sunday of June in most parts of the world to honour fathers and celebrate fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society.
