Sogakope(V/R) April 30, GNA – A 93rd minute penalty scored by Kotoku Royals player Shaibu Aminu ensured that his team secured the three maximum points in the match day 18 Division One match played against Agbozume Weavers FC at Sogakope.
It was the away team, Kotoku Royals which scored the first goal in the 11th minute through Clement Awonyo, however, the home team could not equalise till the end of the first half.
Upon assumption of the second half, the home team equalised in the 50th minute through Phillip Tetteh.
Luck was not on the side of the home team when they conceded a late penalty, which was converted by Kotoku Royals FC to give them the three maximum points.
Oda Kotoku Royals after matchday 18 have 35 points and are looking to gain more points in their upcoming matches.
