Accra, Aug. 01, GNA – The Ghana Education Service (GES) has extended condolences to the family of the late Ms Jennifer Naa Doku Bolor, who died on Thursday July 30, after writing her last paper of the semester examination.
“The Service is saddened by the death of Ms Jennifer Naa Doku Bolor, a form two Gold track General Arts 5 student of Oyoko Methodist Senior High School,” a statement signed by Mrs Cassandra Twum Ampofo, the Head of Public Relations, GES and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra said.
It said Jennifer, after writing the last paper of the semester examination, reported sick to the school nurse and while she was being attended to, she collapsed and was rushed to St. Joseph Hospital.
The statement said her aunt, who worked at Koforidua was immediately informed.
It said Jennifer unfortunately died on arrival at the emergency ward and that management of GES was waiting for the Hospital authorities for the cause of death.
“Further details on the cause of the death will be provided as soon as the report is received from the hospital. We stand with the family at this difficult time. May the good Lord grant her peaceful rest”, the statement said.
