CACI Bantama Central assembly donates items to three needy institutions

Kumasi, July 06, GNA – The Christ Apostolic Church International, Bantama Central Assembly, has donated assorted items worth GH¢25,000 .00 to three needy institutions in the Ashanti Region.

They were the Kumasi Children’s Home, Remer Ghana, and Ashanti Bekwai Destitute Infirmary.

The items included bags of rice, bags of maize, and gallons of cooking oil, packs of water, assorted drinks, tin of tomatoes, cartons of milk, washing powder, soaps, toilet papers, and tins of sardine.

The items were presented to end the Church’s annual forty days fasting and prayers in Kumasi.

The Church also donated some 35 bales of different clothes to the Internal Missions Department of the church to be distributed to the needy during its outreach and evangelisation programmes.

Apostle Samuel Kojo Akomeah, the Local Pastor, said it was the Church’s responsibility, as a Christian organization to give to the needy and vulnerable in society.

“This gesture is not a spiritual matter but physical thing to be carried to put smiles on the faces of the marginalized in the society”, he noted.

Apostle Akomeah added that Bantama CACI would continue to support needy persons at all times as part of its social responsibility initiatives.

A representative from Remer Ghana, on behalf of the recipients, thanked the local assembly for the kind gesture and wished God’s blessings for all who contributed in diverse ways to put smiles on their faces.

The Reverend Emmanuel Awotwi, the Internal Missions Coordinator of the Christ Apostolic Church International, receiving the bales of clothing on behalf of the Missions Directorate of the Church, thanked the Management and members of CACI Bantama for the items and pledged to distribute to persons in the missionary areas of the Church.
