Four people die so far from cholera outbreak in Elubo

Elubo (W/R), May 18, GNA — Two more people have died from the Cholera outbreak in the Jomoro District of the Western Region, bringing the total number of deaths so far to four .rn rnThe deceased were identified as Peter Ackah, 45, and Sayika, 34, from Seikrom Norway near the border with Cote d’Ivoire.rn rnThe Assembly member for Seikrom Electoral Area, Mr. James Ewuah, made this known to the GNA in Half Assini on Thursday.rn rnThe cholera outbreak which health authorities attributed to pollution of the Tano River claimed two lives last week, with 33 people hospitalised in Eluborn rnThe health authorities have advised residents who use the Tano River as a source of drinking water to boil before drinking.rn rnGNA
