Accra, Aug. 9, GNA – Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC has declared a GH¢673.48 million dividend payout for the 2025 financial year.
The payout comprises GH¢1.13 million in preference share dividends and GH¢672.35 million from a dividend of GH¢4.989 per ordinary share, following shareholder approval at the Bank’s 56th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Accra.
A release copied to the Ghana News Agency quoted Mr Ebenezer Twum Asante, Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC, as saying management would continue to position the Bank to deliver sustainable value to shareholders.
“Looking ahead, Ghana’s improving macroeconomic outlook provides grounds for optimism, even as global uncertainties remain. We remain confident in the strength of our franchise, the resilience of our people and the relevance of our strategy.
“We will continue to support our clients, deepen our contribution to Ghana’s economic development and deliver long-term value for our shareholders,” he said.
Mr Xorse Godzi, Chief Executive of Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC, said the Bank would deepen client relationships, strengthen digital capabilities and deliver solutions to help clients navigate change with confidence.

The Bank, which commenced operations in Ghana in 1896, said it had supported the country’s economic development through trade and investment, enterprise growth, innovation and connections to global opportunities through its international network.
It said its contribution to sustainable economic growth also included its core banking business, responsible business practices, community investment and talent development.
The Bank also provides thought leadership on key industry issues to support the development of the banking and financial services sector.
