Wenchi, (Bono), April 11, GNA – Mr Adama Sulemana, the Member of Parliament for the Tain Constituency in the Bono Region, has promised the people of improved road networks under the President John Dramani Mahama’s government.

He said the area required improved roads to spur rapid socio-economic growth and development. In an interview with the media at Wenchi, the MP said the government would reconstruct the Wenchi-Sampa, Seikwa-Nsawkaw, Brohane Junction-Brohane and the Badu Junction-Badu roads within the next four years.

Mr Sulemana said the government would also facilitate the resumption of work on the construction of the about 11 Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND) projects which had been abandoned.

The MP said he was also lobbying and working hard to ensure that all 77-zoned Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) had accommodation, saying only 11 CHPS compounds had been constructed.

Mr Sulemana said he funded the construction and operationalisation of three CHPS compounds in the area, and that he was also working tirelessly to ensure that the 91 deprived communities in the area, were also connected to the national electricity grid.
