Sefwi-Punikrom (WN/R), April 23, GNA – The Royal Dansity Investment International, producers of Dansity sachet water, has donated medical equipment and books valued at about GHC59,000, to Ayeboso SDA Clinic and Sefwi-Wiawso Community Library respectively, in the Wiawso Municipality of the Western North Region.

The items included six hospital beds, six mattresses, two nurse’s chairs, two swivel chairs, walking stick for patients, and 300 books to stock the Wiawso community library.

The donations were done with support from Muduck University and Mandurah Library in Australia.

Mr Daniel Abrokwa, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Royal Dansity Investment International, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) after the presentation, that the donation was in line with his organisation’s corporate social responsibility and a response to an appeal made by the management of the Ayeboso Clinic during their 10th Anniversary celebration.

He said the gesture was to help improve healthcare service delivery and inculcate reading habits into the youth within their operational area.

Mr Abrokwa appealed to individuals from Wiawso both home and abroad, to support institutions within these communities, as the government alone could not bring the needed development to the people.

He also advised the management of the beneficiary institutions to make good use of the items received for their intended purposes, to help guarantee their longevity.

Nana Kweku Mensah II, the Chief of Ayeboso, on behalf of the two institutions expressed gratitude to the company and its partners for the kind gesture, saying the items had come at the right time.

He expressed confidence that the items received would help improve healthcare delivery and whip up the reading habits among residents within these communities.
