Takoradi (W/R), April 06, GNA – The Peasant Farmers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has pledged to support the government’s Agricultural transformative agenda in the quest to boost Agricultural productivity in the country.
To this end, the PFAG would continue to foster healthy relationship with Mr Peter Boamah –Otokunor, the Director of Agriculture and Agribusiness on Presidential Initiatives at the Presidency.
Mr Wepia Addo Awal Adugwal, the President of the PFAG, said this during a meeting with the Director at his office in Accra.
The meeting centered on how the government would extend support to the PFAG to make the transformational agenda in modernising agriculture as agribusiness.
The meeting was also used to discuss strategic decisions and to foster a mutually beneficial and impactful working relationship between the two parties.
On his part, Dr Boamah-Otokunor pledged the readiness of his office to support farmers and farming activities to ensure food security and food sufficiency in the country.
