Nkwanta (O/R), April 11, GNA – Mr. Joseph Kwame Antwi, the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nkwanta South, has urged residents to channel their grievances through dialogue rather than resorting to conflicts.
He made this plea during his inaugural address to the residents, where he emphasized the need for peaceful coexistence and constructive engagement.
The MCE stressed that dialogue was a more effective way to address grievances and resolve disputes rather than resorting to violence or conflict.
He encouraged residents to engage in open and honest discussions to find solutions to their problems.
Mr Antwi reaffirmed his commitment to promoting peace and development in the municipality.
He pledged to work with all stakeholders to create an environment that fosters economic growth, social progress, and peaceful coexistence.
Mr. Antwi expressed his vision for the Municipality, which included transforming the area into a thriving economic hub.
He assured the residents that his administration would work to create opportunities for economic growth, improve living standards, and enhance the overall quality of life for the people.
The MCE also pledged to empower youth through agriculture and other government initiatives to reduce unemployment among the youth and become totally dependent on government resources.
The confirmation was a remarkable one after the 43 assembly members present voted yes for the new MCE, securing him a 100 percent confirmation.
