MP pledges to fix bad roads in Tano South Constituency

Bechem, (Ahafo), April 10, GNA – Mr Charles Akwasi Asiedu, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Tano South Constituency in the Ahafo Region, has identified some bad roads in the area, pledging to fix them to alleviate the plight of the constituents. 

He said he was aware that poor condition of the Bechem-Breme-Mansopa, as well as the Bechem-Kwasu and Bechem-Mansin roads remained the concerns and immediate needs of the farming communities. 

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Bechem, Mr Asiedu he was working hard for those roads including Breme-Onhianimgoase-Mansin and the New Brosankro to Old Brosankro roads to be fixed. 

The MP said he, together with the President Nominee for the Tano South Municipal Chief Executive Mr Emmanuel Kwame Frimpong and Mr Suley Marrick, the Tano South Constituency NDC Chairman and some Urban Roads Engineers in the region inspected and taken inventory of all the bad roads in the area. 

He emphasised that quality road infrastructure facilitated economic growth and development, and urged the farming communities to remain calm, saying under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, their challenges would be tackled. 

Mr Asiedu said what he and President John Dramani Mahama, needed from the people was their support, saying the government would soon roll out economic intervention policies that would address their socioeconomic needs and better their lives.
