MCE nominee calls on traditional leaders’ support ahead of confirmation

Nkwanta (O/R), April 09, GNA – Mr. Joseph Kwame Antwi, the Nkwanta South Municipal Chief Executive nominee, has reached out to traditional leaders in the area, seeking their support ahead of his confirmation by the Assembly Members.

Mr. Antwi emphasised the importance of collaboration among chiefs, residents, government officials and other stakeholders to promote peace and unity in the municipality.

He believes that working together with the leaders, they can address the challenges facing the area and drive development.

He expressed his commitment to engaging with all the stakeholders, including traditional leaders, to ensure the progress and prosperity of the municipality.

The MCE nominee also highlighted his recognition of the crucial roles traditional leaders played in maintaining peace and stability of the area.

He said that by seeking their support, he aims to build a strong foundation for his tenure as MCE and foster a collaborative environment for developmental initiatives.

A total of 43 assembly members, including government appointees, are expected to confirm the MCE nominee on Thursday, April 10, 2025
