Assin Fosu (C/R), April 25, GNA – Ohemaa Akua Becky, Founder of “Kyerewadwene Pi” a local charitable organisation that seeks to help the needy, has donated essential items to the Saint Francis Xavier Hospital at Assin Fosu in the Central Region.
The items included a refrigerator, assorted drinks, bottled water, and many more estimated at GH¢14,000.00.
Presenting them, Ohemaa Becky said the items were the organisation’s modest support to enhance the hospital’s capacity to provide quality healthcare services to patients.
The group she indicated, was dedicated to the improvement of the lives of people in the Assin Fosu Municipality and its environs.

She therefore appealed to the hospital to use the items for the intended purposes and promised to collaborate with Non-Governmental Organisations and Philanthropists to also get on board to help the needy.
Sister Georgina Donzing, sister-in-charge, who received the items on behalf of the hospital, was grateful to the group and assured them the items would be used well to benefit all.
She said the group’s efforts demonstrated the power of collaboration and philanthropic work in enhancing healthcare delivery and promoting the well-being of local communities.
The sister-in-charge appealed to benevolent Organisations and Philanthropists to help get a generator for the hospital to power its oxygen machine, to meet critical healthcare needs.
