Kumawu April 02, GNA – Mr Ernest Yaw Anim, Member of Parliament for Kumawu, has stressed the need for peace, unity and collective support for the district’s development efforts.
He said it was time for the people to bury their political differences and work together for the progress of Kumawu.
Addressing members of the Muslim community after donating some food items to support the Eid-ul-Ftir festivities, Mr Anim pointed out that development thrived in a peaceful and united environment, and all must contribute towards the growth and development of the district.
Among the items were 30 bags of rice, 10 boxes of cooking oil, five boxes of mackerel, cartons of Milo and a cash of GHc 10,000.00 to support the celebrations.
He said it was important for the people to support whoever the President would name as the District Chief Executive to ensure smooth transition and speedy development of the area.

Alhaji Ustaz Abdul Rahim Nasirudeen Alhassan, the District Chief Imam, expressed profound gratitude to the MP for his continuous support to the Muslim community in the area.
He said such gestures were important in the period of Ramadan to help support the poor and needy, who could not afford, to also enjoy the festivities.
The donation reaffirms the MP’s commitment to promoting social inclusion, religious harmony, and development within the district, ensuring that all communities benefit from his leadership.
