Kadjebi (O/R), April 02, GNA – Kadjebi Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) were busily working in their various offices on Wednesday, April 02, after a month-long strike that ended on Friday, March 28.

Ghana News Agency’s (GNA) visit to the Budget, Internal Audit, Human Resource, Records, the Environmental Health and Sanitation Unit, among others, revealed this.

Mr. Emmanuel Doe, Kadjebi District Chairman of CLOGSAG, engaging with the GNA in his office, said they had resumed work and thanked the parties for helping to resolve the impasse.

CLOGSAG began a nationwide strike on February 20, protesting Samuel Adom Botchway’s appointment as Births and Deaths Registrar, insisting the role should be held by a civil servant due to concerns over his alleged NDC affiliation.

CLOGSAG however, suspended the nationwide strike after its National Executive Council reached a decision at an emergency meeting on Friday, March 28, 2025.
